When Katz Law was founded in 1998, we purposefully chose to represent people injured by the negligence of others, injured working on or around the river, and those going through divorces and domestic matters. We intentionally chose to represent people who are going through the most trying times of their lives. For over 30 years, we have put our proven trial strength to work helping injured people get the compensation they need and deserve, and protecting the interests of people involved in family law matters of all kinds. Along the way, we are proud to have recovered millions of dollars to help people and families move on with their lives after being hurt due to an act of negligence or while working on the river. We have also saved millions of dollars for people going through a divorce.
Your Case. Your Attorney.
We do not believe in being legal dictators. When you choose us to resolve your personal injury, river injury or family law matter, we believe that it is our role to serve your interests, not our own. We believe that you have the right to meet with, communicate with and work with your attorney from start to finish, and that your case should not simply be handed off to a paralegal.
Our role is to listen to you and work with you through all phases of your case. When you come into our office for the first time, we will take great care to learn about you and your situation and to zero in on your goals. From there, we will give you the benefit of our decades of experience as we propose the best approach for achieving your goals. As we move forward with that approach, we will keep you involved. You will make the key decisions along the way. This is the way we believe the lawyer-client relationship should work — as a team.
